Why It’s Cool: If you haven’t heard us gush about how amazing Immortal Hulk is by now, I don’t know what to tell you. And the only one who knows about this dark infection.is the Immortal Hulk! Something with unspeakable plans for humanity. By the government, by Alpha Flight, by the mysterious Shadow Base - and by the Avengers! But Bruce has even bigger problems. The horror is the Immortal Hulk! And though he cannot die, the Hulk is being hunted yet again. When night falls, something other than the man gets up again. If someone were to shoot him in the head.all he'd do is die. He's a scientist who believes he can use the darkest elements of his personality to do good in the world. Is he man or monster.or is he both? You know Bruce Banner. Final Crisis can be complex, but it’s ideas are amazing and series like this showcase the strong storytelling that took place within its framework. Why It’s Cool: I threw this one on the list this week immediately because it was one of the books that Taylor Pecther touched upon in his recent piece about Renee Montoya, The Question. It's up to the Spectre, the Question and Batwoman to take down these minions before all hope is lost! Featuring stunning art from DC newcomer Philip Tan (BATMAN AND ROBIN, GREEN LANTERN). Worshipping a religion based on crime, these disciples plan on subduing humanity and extinguishing its free will. As a massive cosmic battle between good and evil rages across the DC Universe, a war of faith tests the might of the Spectre and the souls of humanity! Darkseid, the malevolent New God has waged a brainwashing war against mankind, leaving the Spectre - God's embodiment of vengeance - to face off against the mad god's followers.
